Enabling or Disabling Remote Notifications

Newly created alarm-triggered remote notifications are enabled by default. You may want to disable a remote notification to prevent it from executing for the time being, or conversely to re-enable a previously disabled one.

 

Method 1 – Enable or Disable a Remote Notification from the Operation Tab

  • System Manager is in a layout that includes the Contextual pane.
  1. Select Applications > Remote Notifications > [remote notification].
  • In the Operation tab, the Operational Status property indicates whether the remote notification is Enabled or Disabled.
  1. Click Enable or Disable.
  • The Operational Status property updates accordingly.

 

Method 2 – Enable or Disable a Remote Notification from the General Settings Expander

  1. Select Applications > Remote Notifications > [remote notification].
  • The RENO Configurator tab displays.
  1. In the General Settings expander, select or clear the Active check box.
  1. Click Save .
  • In the Operation tab, the Operational Status property updates accordingly.

NOTE:
When you disable a remote notification, the Desigo CC management station generates an event. This event is automatically cleared when you re-enable the remote notification.
