Refreshing the Cameras Configuration

Scenario: In the Video Management System (VMS), the camera settings were changed or restored. You want to acquire the new camera settings into the management platform.
NOTE: To avoid incorrect data acquisition and possible data loss, make sure to have a correct and complete VMS camera configuration in place before you start the refresh command.

  1. In System Browser, select Application View.
  1. Select the Video folder.
  1. Select the Extended Operation tab.
  • The Video System commands display.
  1. Click Refresh.
  • The refresh action may take a few seconds or some minutes, depending on the configuration size. Refresh successful displays.
